Shout out to RKY

This is a shout out to all the Richmondites. Many people were born into this small town. It has shaped us to be who we are today and we have shaped Richmond to be what it is today. Many people from my generation give or take a few ages, for example, have shaped Madison County soccer to be what it is today. We were the first to really devote a lot of time to soccer and take pride in it when we traveled. Great example of this are those Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals hanging somewhere in our houses from the Bluegrass State Games. Its is also because of our generation that we have the Richmond Centre, we got tired of those same store in the Richmond Mall and the city listened. Its because of our generation that Madison Central gove the real "futbol" the passion it needed at Central. Its is also because of every single person in our generation that we are who we are. Even though we've had our ups and downs, we are still tighter than a rubber band.

This is jus a small and quick shout out to you Richmondite for shaping our once small town into what it is today and for shaping those around you to be who they are now. Richmond, Kentucky is the place I will always proudly call my birthplace, home, and where I come from and take pride in the statement.

"Who's Your Daddy?" Part 1

Its been a while since I have wrote on the blog so here comes another one. And on this one I am going to come a little deep into my thoughts because my wheels have been a'turnin'. And trust me the title will have relevance by the end of these blogs. Just a little background: this is what I have been learning in philosophy class.

One of the biggest question in todays society is between evolution and if it is the true way we came into existence. The evolution theory came about by the reasoning of Edwin Darwin. Darwin stated that organisms have progressively evolved into what we are today, evolutionism. But the theory I want to expand upon is by F.R. Tennant. His theory is called the Theistic Evolution theory. This is "the belief that God uses natural evolutionary processes to bring about his desired effect." This theory by Tennant can only old true if the theory of evolution is correct.

At this point is where I would like to branch off. All the speculation and criticism of evolution vs Christianity and whatnot is a little out of hand. What if the people in the Christian faith would accept evolution into their beliefs? I think some debates would stop answering where we came from and how we got here. We first have to remember that Darwin wasn't trying to prove Christianity wrong, it only suggested a different way of which God created us. This view is the theistic theory. I think this theory could very possibly be a plausible theory. No, we wouldn't have started out as a monkey man or whatever. we would have to go way back to the tiny organisms and atoms at the beginning of the Earth.

More thoughts continued next time....Hope your wheels are turning too. Research more if need be.
