We all just survived the flood of the decade! Many people referenced taking boats to get places and swimming to get to their classes, and, they probably had too. There were also references to knowing how Noah felt and taking his boat for their travels. Well ironically enough the Noah's Ark has been found, so they claim. I found an a couple of articles on the internet last Friday/Saturday about this claim. Its actually believable too, which makes it really cool. The wood that is on this ship they found in Mount Ararat in Turkey dates to be, or carbon dated, to be 4,800 years old. This puts the ship around the time Noah built the ark when reading the Bible literally. Being in Turkey, it is also the area he would have been in also.
As a Christian this is a great find. I cannot tell you the excitement that it brings to me and the Christian faith. It helps us reinforce the timeline of the Bible and maybe straighten some things that may be a little fuzzy because the scrolls are so old.
